School Values
Love, Hope, Perseverance, Respect, Responsibility
Welcome to
Welcome to Blandford St Mary Church of England Primary School. I feel immensely proud to be the Headteacher of this wonderful one-form entry school where children truly are at the heart of everything we do.
We offer excellent standards of care, guidance and support and a high-quality learning environment to support all learners equally. The school upholds an ethos of high expectations which provides children with challenging opportunities where children acquire skills, knowledge and confidence that can be applied to all future learning experiences. These opportunities encourage respect, self-belief, excellence and enjoyment and prepare our pupils for the next stage of their education.

Year 6 have been learning ratio...and their cheeky elf set them a festive challenge! After cracking the maths, they made their own hot chocolate cones to share with a loved one or give as a gift. This half-term's value is JOY, so we've encouraged the children to share their cones with someone special to help spread a little extra Christmas cheer - just as Miss West and Mrs Dolman have been doing too! Of course... it would have been rude for them not to test out the hot chocolate first (whipped cream is optional!). #primaryschool #education #maths #mathsproblem #ratio #elf #elfchallenge #festivechallenge #festivejoy #spreadingthelove #spreadingjoy #hotchocolate #marshmallows #hotchocolatecones #makinglearningfun #christmas #christmasmaths #christmasjoy #sharingiscaring #schoolreel #dorsetschool #happychildren #blandfordstmary #dorset
